I am Satish Dorwekar, founder and tattoo artist at Colour Core Tattoos, Pune, and a third-generation tattoo artist carrying forward my family’s proud legacy in tattooing. Born and raised in Pune, I grew up surrounded by this art form and became the only artist from my generation to continue the tradition. My journey has been shaped not only by heritage but also by formal training under my mentor, Vikram Pratap Singh, who refined my craft and taught me the discipline of precision and creativity.
With 12+ years of professional tattooing experience, I specialize in watercolour tattoos and modern Japanese styles, blending fluid movement, vibrant colour palettes, and contemporary techniques to create truly unique designs. I also enjoy working in realism and fine-line tattoos, exploring subtle detail, depth, and emotional storytelling through ink.
Over the years, my work has been showcased and recognized across India, with 11+ awards at international tattoo conventions. I am also proud to be sponsored by Dirk Tattoo, a recognition that further strengthens my journey as an artist. These milestones remind me that tattooing is more than just skin-deep it’s a lifelong path of learning, evolving, and creating art that resonates.
